What the answers are built from (observed)

“Best of” listicles (including one published by an agency), Expertise/ThreeBestRated-type directories, and review platforms. No business appeared on the strength of its own website alone.

Two real observations from this run:

Near-name collision: Q1 surfaced “A to Z Construction Inc.” (roofing) while Q5 surfaced “A To Z Remodelers & Builders” (remodeling) — highly similar names, different businesses. AI answers and directory crawls can confuse such near names; the paid report's consistency checklist scores this risk for the audited client.
An agency's own content is a cited source: the first source for Q1 was a listicle published by Hook Agency itself. An agency's content assets help decide whether its clients appear in AI answers.
